Before starting for myself, I held product and marketing roles at companies ranging from early-stage startups to established enterprises. I've seen what works and (more importantly) experienced of what doesn't. The same patterns usually play out: A strong product that can't be explained in a simple way, a growth plan built on hope instead of strategy, a team with energy but no direction.
